The innovative Nordson EF 60 V slot applicator was specifically designed for edge filling and sealing of the less expensive particle boards needed for cost-effective furniture manufacturing. Based on the proven Nordson EB 60 V applicator technology, EF 60 V applicators produce a smooth, uniform panel edge for application of even the thinnest decorative papers or foils.
The EF 60 V applicator uses a contact slot process to first fill voids in the panel edge with adhesive. Then, a second EF 60 V applicator subsequently dispenses an adhesive seal to the panel edge and provides the final smooth surface that the panels require.
